The International Congress of Black Women awarded talented women of the Diaspora and the continent during the Gala. This exceptional Evening was was attended by the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo HE Mr. Joseph Kabila Kabange, accompanied with Distinguished First Lady of the DRC, Mrs. Olive Lembe Kabila Kabange, Distinguished First Lady of the Republic of Congo, Mrs Antoinette Sassou Nguesso, and Distinguished First Lady of the Republic of Zambia Mrs. Thandiwe Banda.

The purpose of "The Palms of Excellency"  is to acknowledge across the African continent and the Diaspora, women entrepreneurs who, through their achievements and success of their businesses, make an enormous contribution for African and global economies and for their communities. In paying tribute to these entrepreneurs, we hope: Encourage the growth of their business and expand their personal networks, significantly increase their visibility.
